It is now 11:30am on Monday, and we still haven't lost electricity. The hurricane has lost strength over night. It is at 110 mph and category 2. The eye is currently over Houma and headed straight for us. We expect the worst weather to be at about 7:00pm tonight. The storm should weaken as it makes it way to us. We don't have any known damage as of now, and everyone is doing fine. As I was writing that last sentence, Donna walks in from outside saying that the Bradford Pear tree fell on the jacuzzi! We went check it out and the structure that Kent made for the overhead speakers protected the jacuzzi from being impacted. It seems to be safe, for now.
