This past Sunday, I did the River Ranch Mini-Tri. This is pretty much the smallest triathlon they have. The distances were: 70 meter swim, 9.5 mile bike, and 2 mile run. From left to right, in the photo is Brad Lynch, Mike Declouet, Sean Landry, and Michael Phelps/Lance Armstrong/Forest Gump.
In our group, I came out last, but at least I looked the best. There are a few more Triathlons coming up that we are going to shoot for. It was everyones' first tri, except for me (I did one last year). They all enjoyed it, and look forward to the next one. Sean and Mike have signed up for one in Morgan City in late August. That sounds like that will be the next one we do.
