As of this morning, Em's fever went away, but her right eye is still infected more than normal, and she has been a little irritated. Erin brought Em to her follow-up appointment today at 3:45pm. Doc thinks that she has a viral infection (instead of our last diagnosis of a bacterial infection). And to keep giving her the eye drops and antibiotics anyway (eventhough viral infections cannot be cured by antibiotics) in case it is a bacterial infection. The viral infection is highly contagious, of course. The virus should last another 3 days or so. And, if her fever comes back, we need to bring her back in. So, I guess we are staying home all weekend!
