The twins are here! Erin had a scheduled c-section on 10/20/2011 at 7:30am. We arrived at Women's and Children's Hospital at 5:00 in the morning. The two hours flew by, as I was ready to see and photo my new family members. Up until the birth, I was the only one to know both of the boys names. The reason is that Erin and I always knew that one name would be Andrew, but we could never agree on the second baby's name. So, Erin gave me a list of 5 names to choose from. And, she wanted me to keep my choice a secret until they were born. At 7:24, Andrew Phillip Landry (6lbs 8oz) was born, only to be followed by his younger, taller, and thinner brother, Tyler Kent Landry (6lbs 3oz).
They were beautiful and had a healthy cry. I took pictures of the boys as the hospital staff were taking care of them. I was even able to cut their umbilical cords.
After only a few minutes, the respiratory doctor handed me both of the boys for me to go introduce them to their mother. It was a moment I will never forget. We were so excited to see them.
Then, the docter let me take the babies to go show them to our family waiting in another room. I choked up a little while telling our family the boys names for the first time, because we hadn't told them that the boys middles names would be Phillip (my dad's name) and Kent (Erin's dad's name).

The c-section went very well, and Erin is recovering smoothly.
